Darrel Baumgardner, formerly a senior scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), in Boulder, Colorado and at the Center for Atmospheric Sciences at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), is the chief scientist at Droplet Measurement Technologies LLC (DMT), the company he founded in 1987. The instruments that are developed and are marketed by DMT are used worldwide for weather modification research.
