José M. Vaquero is currently a Full Professor (Physics of the Earth) of the Department of Physics at the University of Extremadura (Mérida, Spain). He is interested in the reconstruction of solar activity and Earth climate during the last centuries from documentary sources. He also is interested in the popularization and history of the geo- and space sciences.
