Rafael N. Liñán Abanto, PhD in Atmospheric Sciences by Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He is currently a Professor and Director of the Department of Physics at the Universidad Nacional Jorge Basadre Grohmann de Tacna, Peru. His research focuses on the optical properties of atmospheric aerosols and the concentration of black carbon.
